Chrissy Holman (she/her) is a queer and aspec community organizer from NYC on a quest to improve access to quality, trauma-informed, social justice-focused mental healthcare — as access to quality mental healthcare is a basic human right. She does media relations for City University of New York School of Law (@CUNYLaw), the nation’s premier public interest social justice law school, and directs communications for the American Psychological Association’s Committee on Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM) through Division 44, the Society for the Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity (@Div44CNM). Past positions include presiding over Open Love NY, the largest polyamory advocacy organization in the world, hosting Poly Cocktails, advocacy for the NCSF and Woodhull, and co-administrating the first non-monogamy group to discuss asexuality and aromanticism. Before entering the nonprofit world, Chrissy was an award-winning publicist for Sony Music for over a decade. She holds an M.S. in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University and a B.A. in Psychology and Ethics from Hunter College of the City University of New York.
