Jamie Kynn

Jamie is a doctoral student in the school of social work at Michigan State University. They have a background in sexual gender-based violence prevention, with many years working with adolescents on teen dating violence awareness and prevention. Jamie center their queerness in their approach to research, and hopes to use their work to challenge the dominant power structures. With expertise in interpersonal and community-level trauma, Jamie is interested in helping researchers develop trauma-informed means of exploring social problems that impact historically marginalized folks.
