We will stand firm! Woodhull joins 200 organizations nation-wide to uphold civil and human rights under Trump

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — January 23, 2017 — Washington, DC

The Woodhull Freedom Foundation is standing firm in the face of threats from the Trump Administration and Congress.  As a proud member of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, a coalition consisting of more than 200 national organizations, we wholeheartedly sign on to the following statement. This outlines our key priorities for achieving equal justice and opportunity for all for the next four years.

We stand in solidarity with communities that are especially vulnerable to the Trump Administration. Our priorities include strengthening voting rights, reforming our justice system, building stronger families and communities, ensuring access to high quality education and protecting human rights.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights represents millions of Americans and is united by a shared commitment to making the United States of America a more just, fair and inclusive nation for everyone. Woodhull is proud to partner with the Leadership Council to advance our mission to affirm sexual freedom as a fundamental human right.
