Anthony P. Verdino (he/him) is a PhD candidate at the Crown School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at University of Chicago. His research focuses on working with Queer young adults especially those with mental health concerns, in exploring the use of imagination and experiences of agency, resilience, joy, and pleasure. He enjoys teaching at the graduate level, including courses on social work practice, marginalized communities, harm reduction, and sexuality and relationships. With 15 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, he has supported mainly young adults and Queer, kink, and poly communities around mental health, life transitions, relationships, and identity.
