Natashia Milburn is the Project Coordinator for Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) Behind Bars, an organization that supports sex workers who have been incarcerated or victims of trafficking. She is also the Project Director and a Co-Facilitator for the Adolescent Sexual Health Education and Research (ASHER) program and co-developed the comprehensive and gender-inclusive sexual health education curriculum, “Choosing Myself”. Beginning as a research assistant for Dr. Jill McCracken to work on sexual health education for youth in high-risk communities and situations, her areas of academic interest have expanded to sexual freedom, human rights, and the decriminalization of prostitution.
