Ted Bernhardt

Ted is a long-time community and environmental activist and consultant for a major recycling industry. In his community work, Ted consistently assumed the job of raising and managing money to fund the work of each organization.
During his tenure as Chief of Marketing and New Business Development for the Maryland Environmental Service, Ted dramatically increased sales of recycled products as well as identifying new opportunities for income-generating activities.
As a consultant, business owner and high-level manager for various commercial enterprises, Ted has managed research, process engineering, retail and commercial sales and marketing for a variety of industry leaders in both the North American and international marketplace. His strength is in turn-around endeavors, reducing losses and identifying strategic opportunities for growth and sustainable funding. During his time with Woodhull, Ted has successfully managed the logistics and external relationships for events like “Sexual Freedom Day” and Woodhull’s Sexual Freedom Summit.
